Installing Flash

If you do not have the Flash Player installed already then you will need to download and install it before you are able to use any of the Flash applications at HTML Chat from this link: Adobe Flash Player Download, if you are not using the Windows operating system then please click the following: Adobe Flash Player Version Selection.

Help

In order for your webcam to work on a Flash Player application you will need to ensure that your webcam has been correctly installed on to your operating system. If you have done that and your webcam does not connect when you have selected "Allow" ¹ from the security window then you will need to try the following instructions.

Settings

• 1.) Right click (hold Ctrl & mouse click for Macs) the Flash application you're trying to use (Webcams | 99 SnapShots | 99 Red Balloon Game) and select "Settings..." ² from the popup menu.
• 2.) Click on the Camera Tab ³ icon and then select your webcam driver from the drop down list on that window.
• 3.) You may also need to do the same method to access your Microphone by clicking the Microphone Tab ⁴ icon and selecting your Microphone from the drop down list. When you select your Microphone you will notice the volume level indicator move, this is a good time to make sure the volume level bar is adjusted so that the indicator stays within the green at normal speaking level. Checking the "Reduce Echo" checkbox may also help.

Quick Tip

If you have selected "Deny" for access while at the loading of the application and want to set it to "Allow" you can do so without restarting the application. In "Settings..." select the Privacy Tab ⁵ icon and click on the "Allow" option (radio) button and then "Close".
